The part people miss is what happens after the shower. Do not step out and immediately seal yourself into thick pajamas or a heavy comforter. Dry off, wear something loose and breathable, and give your skin access to moving air. If you have a fan, this is when it earns its place.

Cool the places where heat can leave quickly
